Malacca - My food paradise

My parents are from Malacca; besides Subang this place is considered to be my second hometown. I have spent every Chinese New year here of the first 20 years of my life and often visit my grandparents during holidays. Malacca is a World Heritage Site and the gastronomical experience that comes along for with the trip is unforgettable.

The harmonious and wonderful blend of History,Culture,Food,People and Lifestyle is the reason why this place is so special. Below are some of my many favorite spots to fill my tummy, it may not have a Michelin Star, but taste wise it'll give a fight.

Nyonya Laksa - Price RM 3.50 @ Museum Cafe

Location : Jonker Dessert 88 (Museum Cafe),88, Jonker Walk, Melaka.

Pork Satay - @ Sun May Hiong

Nasi Lemak with Prawn Sambal, Fried Egg, Kankung , Anchovies and Nuts

Fish ball Noodles(with 3 types of fish balls and crispy prawn crackers) @ T S Mee

Dear Thatssoron, have not found the best bowl of noodles...yet, But I am still looking. I really liked reading and seeing Malacca and especially liked the photo of a wooden gate with a green path. Did know places so beautiful, simple and peaceful looking existed. There are some wonderful shots of the food, especially the pork satai skewers. Very professional and I will definitely be back to have a bite of more.
Thank you for sharing.
Cheers, Gaby
